Your calls, handled your way.

Ring Gate can step in when you don’t answer, give you a separate number for calls you’d rather it answered first, make calls for you, and help you take over a live conversation when you’re needed. You stay in control.

You don’t need a new phone, and you don’t have to give up your number.

Four ways to use it

Let my phone ring first

Recommended

Your normal phone rings just like today. If you don’t answer and your carrier supports it, the call can come to Ring Gate — which can find out who’s calling, take a message, handle something you’ve authorized, connect it to what you’re already working on, and tell you what happened.

“You keep your number. You keep your phone. Ring Gate steps in when you can’t answer.”

Use a Ring Gate number

A separate number you can hand to businesses, contractors, marketplaces, reservations and online forms. Ring Gate answers it first, and your personal number stays yours.

“Give out your Ring Gate number when you want Ring Gate to handle the first conversation.”

Advanced call control

Ring Gate answers first, works out why the person is calling, and can bring you into the live conversation. Handing a live caller to you needs a phone that isn’t forwarding everything back to Ring Gate, so availability depends on your setup.

“Ring Gate handles the beginning of the call, then brings you in when you’re needed.”

Availability depends on your carrier and forwarding setup.

Outbound only

No forwarding at all. Ring Gate confirms appointments, checks stock, gets prices, makes reservations, calls a list of businesses, and keeps calling until your goal is met.

“Want Ring Gate to make calls for you without changing incoming calls? That’s fine too.”

Take over anytime

When Ring Gate is on a live call and a handover is possible, you can choose Transfer to me. It tells you who’s calling and what the conversation is about before you join, and the call stays attached to the same Ring Gate conversation instead of becoming a separate mystery call in your history.

One limit worth knowing: if your carrier forwards every call to Ring Gate, a transferred call would be forwarded straight back. Ring Gate won’t offer a handover in that setup, and it tells you why rather than failing quietly.

Ring Gate remembers the reason for the call

If a business calls back about something Ring Gate was already working on for you, that callback is connected to the task instead of being treated as a random call. If the evidence is thin, Ring Gate says so rather than guessing.

Every call, summarized

Afterwards you get the parts that matter, not a wall of transcript.

  • Whether you want to take over a live call.
  • Whether calls are transcribed, and how long anything is kept.

Call-forwarding options vary by carrier, plan and device. Ring Gate shows you the options for your setup and verifies that a forwarded call actually arrives before calling it active. See our privacy policy and terms.
